Great platform!! Easy to use and very nicely produced. Would love to see more detail on roofing code compliance, but this program does address a number of the basics for proper mounting and flashing. There are still some bugs to be worked out. ****System very slow to load lessons. ****On 10-09-2012 I was unable to get any of the lessons to load properly. The zoom has to be set to 100% in the Chrome browser or the lessons do not display properly. Even then, the window flickers when you click the icons ****Lesson 7 response time was very slow (I am running latest version of Chrome on Mac Snow Leopard). ****The video freezes at 1:04 in Lesson 2 Topic 2 and photos of galvanic corrosion do not display. ****Topic 3 states that the clip, modules, and racking system be listed "as an assembly". This seems to imply that UL2703 is needed. There are few assemblies have been tested to UL2703, and it is not yet a finalized standard.****Lesson 7 practice is not working right. The first time the plans showed 6 modules and the roof had 12. I answered no and was told it was incorrect. The next attempt showed 12 modules on the plan and 12 on the roof, and I answered yes, and was told that was incorrect.****In the "Field Inspection Guidelines for PV Systems on page 12, the Quick Mount PV website is incorrectly listed as www.quickmount.com. The proper website is www.quickmountpv.com.

This is fabulous. Will be recommending to local JTA's. Maybe we can all get on the same page.

A well presented basic course. The program could use some tweaking and should be made compatible to Safari for IPAD use and IE.

I just start to watch the lesson 1 and on the video on page 3 when the technician open the J-box, it's showing they used normal electrical connector or twist connector. That connector is not UL certified for 600 Volt DC. The right connector should be ILCO or Polaris connectot for 600 Volt DC rate. If the code inspector look at this video will pass system that will extremely dangerous for the system and the house.

Course gave basics to new AHJ and Installers. Will prove helpful during plan review and in the field. Had a little trouble getting things to display properly.
